Nexon has announced the soft launch for their upcoming mobile game, Chaos Chronicle. The game is currently only available in Australia, New Zealand, Philippines, Malaysia, and Indonesia Google Play Store.
I’ll be very honest with you guys and say that this is your typical Korean style Monster Breeding game. However, as Com2uS has Summoners War, Gamevil has Dragon Blaze and Netmarble with Seven Knights, Chaos Chronicle will probably be the representative game for Nexon in the Monster Breeding Genre.
Although I mentioned that the game is your typical Korean style Monster Breeding game, it does have certain gameplay mechanic that differentiate itself from the others. For example, there is an aiming mechanic for all range attackers where you’ll have to aim and stop the casting area at the most optimal position to deal damage to all enemies. You’ll also be able to acquire random characters of the next rarity level by completing the Enhancement Crest (runes).
As for the game’s artstyle, it feels vaguely similar to Dragon Blaze. Even certain parts of the gameplay seems to get its idea from Dragon Blaze. For a moment, I thought I was playing the HD version of Dragon Blaze. I really like the UI for the game especially the character profile. It feels very “High Tech” for a fantasy based game.
Various Battle Contents includes:
– Adventure Mode : Conquer the continents with your outstanding heroes!
– PvP System : Bring honor to your House by challenging other players in stunning PvP battle!
– Raid Monsters : Combine forces with other Houses and fight against the furious Raid Monsters!
– Manatech Tower : Advance through the tower and challenge your limits!
– Daily Dungeons : Acquire materials to evolve your mighty heroes to the higher class!
Chaos Chronicles is definitely a good game to pick up if you have not played any of the Korean Monster Breeding games yet, or if you’re bored with your current one.
