Nintendo has announced the launch of Mario Kart Tour! Players who are interested in the game can now download it from your local App or Play Store.
Mario Kart Tour is Nintendo’s mobile version of the famous Mario Kart series. The cool thing about the game is that you will be able to tour in real-world map races that will happen every bi-weekly. For the first ever World Tour event, we will be touring in New York City.
Controls are pretty simple especially when you only need to care about strafing left, right or tap to use the Power ups. Acceleration is automated and the game includes a Smart Steering system.
Now for the monetization part. The score you get for each map is dependent on your Character, Kart and Glider. Having the “matching” character, kart and glider will give you bonus points so it is always good to have a big arsenal of these parts. However, in order to get a new part, you have to gacha for them or buy them in the Shop using Gold.
Another way to get Kart parts is by subscribing to the Gold Pass. You will also need the Gold pass to unlock 200cc races. However, do remember that you will need to manually cancel your subscription or it will automatically renew the following month.
