It’s been a while since I’ve written a first impression article for any mobile games and Monster Super League is definitely a game I would like to recommend to all you readers.

Published by 4:33, Monster Super League is a Korean Style Monster breeding game that is played a little similar to Summoners War mixed with the Pokemon Go’s capturing element (less the walking). In this article, I will discuss 3 gameplay mechanics that are unique to Monster Super League.

Capturing Astromon

Players will be able to catch monsters in the game called Astromon. To capture the Astromon, you will need to bring along the Astrochips (Pokeball) and fire them off with your Astrogun. There is no curve ball or anything complicated but just a simple tap on the screen. Each stage, you can only bring 3 Astrochips with you thus you might want to save them until a rare Astromon appears.

Evolution

kbp_monstersuperleague_pic4

There are 3 different evolution stages for all Astromon. Each time you evolve your Astromon, it’ll become bigger and look more badass. For the higher rarity Astromon, evolving them to stage 3 will turn them into Waifus! To evolve a unit into it’s Evo.2 form, you will need to feed 3 similar Evo.1 units (regardless of it’s element). To further evolve into the Evo.3 form, you will need 3 other Evo.2 form. In total, you will need 16 of the same Evo.1 unit to turn them into Evo. 3. In a way, it is easier for Players to evolve the Nat 3 and Nat 4 units to the Evo.3 form as some of them are farmable. As for the Nat 5s, good luck getting 15 more of them.

PVP

The last unique feature I would like to talk about is the PVP system. In most PVP mobile games, the major concern for players is that the Defending side is always at a disadvantage because it’s controlled by the AI. Furthermore, the Attacking Player can view the defender’s lineup and prepare the fight beforehand.

What Monster Super League does differently to balance the PVP, is to introduce a 5v4 PVP system where the Defending side has 5 units white the Attacker has 4. The 5th member of the defending side is actually hidden from the attacker so that there is an element of surprise. I’m not sure if I like this system for now as we’re not max leveled yet but this is definitely something good for the defending team.

With the above 3 unique features, I’m pretty sure Monster Super League has the content to compete with the big boys such as Summoners War, Seven Knights and Dragon Blaze. I really hope they start selling Sales packs so that I can try my luck on those Nat5 Astromon!

  1. A total of 16 evo 1 to make evo 3. This game kinda reminds me of SW with a twist (capturing astromons). Hoping to be picked, thanks kbp!

  2. formula :
    evo 1 = 1pc of evo 1
    evo 2 = 4pc of evo 1

    Main char evo 1 + 3 mats of evo 1 = evo 2
    Main char evo 2 + 3 mats of evo 2 = evo 3

    evo 1 main char (1pc of evo 1) + (3pc of evo1 mats) = evo 2
    evo 2 main char (1pc of evo 2) + (3pc of evo2 mats) = evo 3

    1+3 = 4
    4+12 = 16

    //
    Answer = 16 pc of evo 1

  3. honestly i just aware it need alot evo1 to make to evo 3 and alot of money to T_T

    my answer is 16

thx for this event a bit opening my eye lol

  4. 16 Evo.1 = 4 Evo.2 = 1 Evo.3.

Regardless of the sacrificed astromon elements, cause itll follow ur main astromon element.

If u accidentally put ur variant as ur sacrifice, itll turn ur main astromon to a variant with its own element.

  5. 1 main astromon and 15 food astromon
You can also use gleem as substitute for evo 1 to evo 2

    E.g

Miho main water evo 1 = GLEEM water + miho fire + miho wind = Miho evo 2 water

And also fusing a variant evo 2 astromon will make the evo 3 turn to variant even though your main isnt a variant one

    E.g.

    Main evo 2(normal) = fire evo 2 + water evo 2 + variant wind evo 2 = variant evo 3

    Answer:

A total of 16 same type astromons regardless of elemental attribute (gleem can also be use d as substitute) needed

    Evo 1 to evo 2
    1 main evo 1 + 3 feeds evo 1= evo 2 = 4 astromons

    Evo 2 to evo 3
    1 main evo 2 + 3 feeds evo 2= evo 2

    4 x evo 1 = evo 2 (A)
    4 x evo 2 (B)= X

    Where A * B = X

  6. 16, it’s writen there lol!
    Thanks for the giveaway!
Actually, I didn’t knew the game. I’m giving it a chance right now, it looks great

  7. You need 1 main evo.1 units and 15 more to feed them with
So that will be 16 in total 🙂
(You can also use Gleem for a evo.1 -> evo.2 evolution)

  8. You will need exactly 16 Evolution ~ 1 units to make it Evolution 3.
    the simple calculations as follows 1(base unit) + 15(materials) = 16 total

  9. It’s gonna take 16 evolution 1 units to make it evolution 3.
So the other day i found a $20 bill walking in the streets. I must be a lucky person, huh?
    Thanks for the sweet giveaways!

  10. There are 3 different evolution stages for all Astromon. Each time you evolve your Astromon, it’ll become bigger and look more badass. 11. By reading your article, I can say that we need exactly 16 of the same Evo.1 astromon to turn them into it’s Evo.3 form.
So, yeah the answer is 16 in total.
