Summoners War New PvP Features: Spectator Mode and Custom Battle

0

Recently, Summoners War developers introduced Spectate Feature for curious players to watch some of the World Arena PvP gameplay real time. This feature will enable players to observe and learn from the many live 1:1 World Arena battles.

Player can create a Spectator Room or join a Spectator Room that’s created by another player. 1 Spectator Room can have up to 30 users, and there’s an exclusive chat where players in the same room can discuss and exchange opinions. There’s also a “Favorites” feature where users can compile gameplay videos to their Favorites list which can be replayed at any point of time.

Besides that, Summoners War developers has also created Contest Mode (inside Goodwill Battle) which enable players to customized World Arena PvP battles based on their preferred pre-battle conditions. The player who created the Contest Room will be the manager that oversees the contest. A maximum of 50 players can enter one room and will be sorted according to the amount of points they earned by winning the battle. Players can also send a battle request to other players on the list to battle.

As mentioned earlier, players can apply specific rules when they create the contest room. This in turn provides a variety of battle experience with different battle outcomes. Normal Battles will allow users to select Monsters of any grade, 4★ or below Battles will only allow users to select default 4★ or below Monsters, while 20★ Battles limit the sum of the default star grade(★) of selected Monsters to 20.

In addition, players can watch the battle that they didn’t enter in real-time, or watch previous battles again with the Replay Feature. Furthermore, players can share the Contest Room to others whom they want to battle with, so it’s expected that the real-time competition between players will become even more active.

Meanwhile, the number of Monster Slots and Monster Storage have been expanded allowing users to collect more Monsters. The number of default Monster Slots has been increased from 15 to 50. The number of slots in the Monster Storage and Rune Inventory has also been changed to 600 MAX to let users accommodate more Monsters and Runes.

With these new updates, players will be able to observe and learn from other battles and also through their own set of battles with whoever and whenever they want. Players are encouraged to explore Summoners War e-sports function via this Goodwill Contest Mode so that they’ll be ready to enter any of the many upcoming offline tournaments which will be held continuously across the globe.
