Dragon Quest Rivals – Now Live

0

After a day of delay, Square Enix has finally announced the launch of Dragon Quest Rivals. Players who are interested in the game can now download it from Japan’s App or Play Store.

Before we start talking about the game, I need to announce a bad news. Currently, the game has IP Block which means, you will need VPN to actually connect into the game.

At the start of the game, you can choose to play as either 1 of the following 7 Classes, Warrior, Mage, Martial Artist, Priest, Merchant, Sage and Magic Knight.

Dragon Quest Rivals require you to form a deck with 30 cards. Like most TCGs out there, the cards are categorize into Monster Cards, Spell Cards and Weapon Cards. Players will have to strategically play their cards in order to outwit your opponent.

The thing that makes the game unique is actually the Play field. There are 2 rows in front of your main character with 3 columns. Players will need to strategically place your Monster cards to form a barrier or protection against your opponent from directly hitting your Monsters or even your Character.

Login to the game now and receive 14 booster packs with 1 special booster where you’ll be able to get at least a 3 star rarity card.
