Here it is, the list of mobile games that were slated to launch or was delayed to launch in 2019!
Before I start, this is my personal top 10 list. There are actually more games out there that are launching soon so remember to come back everyday to catch their release!
Langrisser Mobile (GL)
Let us start with the most hyped game in the Paoer’s chat, Langrisser Mobile. This is probably the only game in this list with an expected launch date. Langrisser Mobile is a tactical RPG with large-scaled battles and real-time PVP. If you like playing mobile games, this is highly recommended! Check out the new article I’ll be posting next week!
Project Babel (JP)
Project Babel is Colopl’s upcoming mobile game. The game’s storyline is spearheaded by Mr Kazushige Nojima, game writer for many of the later Final Fantasy titles (7,8,10,X-2,AC) and also Mr Hitoshi Sakimoto, music composer for FFT and FF12, are both working on this title. Based on just the trailer, this is definitely my top 3 most anticipated game for 2019.
War of the Visions: Final Fantasy Brave Exvius (JP)
Unlike Final Fantasy Brave Exvius, the sequel is said to be a Tactical RPG. The game is co-developed by gumi and Square Enix. Something worth mentioning about the game is that the platform is unconfirmed. This could mean that the game could be played across multiple platforms. Since the game is slated for a 2019 release, we’ll learn soon enough!
Summoners War MMORPG (KR/GL)
First announced in 2017, Summoners War MMORPG was suppose to be release in 2018. However, it seems like com2us wasn’t ready to release the game yet. I’m guessing and hoping that the game will be ready this year. Can’t wait to throw cards with my Lushen all day round.
Seven Deadly Sins: Battle Between Light and Dark (JP)
Another one of my favorite Manga will be available for mobile play! Seven Deadly Sins: Battle Between Light and Dark seems to be a turn-based RPG type game. Players will need to choose the different type of skill cards to decide the character’s action. Although the game was slated to launch in 2018, things happened and the launch was push back to Spring 2019 (Q2).
Project PK (KR/GL)
Project PK is a monster hunting game that looks very similar to Monster Hunter. The overall world design and monster design looks stunning for a mobile based game.
Project NL (KR/GL)
Project NL seems to be a mix of the Battle Royale and Survival Games genre. The game has cute like graphics similar to Tree of Saviors and Ragnarok Online. Although there are already tons of Battle Royale games out there for the mobile market, I’m really curious to see how the survival aspect of the game plays out in Project NL.
Birdie Crush (GL)
I know some of you might find it weird for this game to appear on this list but I, for some reason, really like to play Golf-themed video games. I’ve played quite a big of Birdie Crush during the Close Beta Test and I’m really loving it. I hope the game will be release soon.
Seven Knights II (KR/GL)
Another one of those delayed games from 2018. Seven Knights II is the sequel to the original Seven Knights mobile game. However, instead of turn-based gameplay, Seven Knights II is an Action RPG. To be honest, I’m not sure if I like this new gameplay system but the graphics is definitely worth checking out.
Last Cloudia (JP)
AIDIS, the developers for Grand Summoners will be launching their first official title Last Cloudia. The game has some pretty interesting story line told with tons of CG cinematic that is worth checking out. I am not sure if this is going to be the same turn-based tap battle or Action RPG gameplay but just by watching the trailer, this is easily top 10 material.
Lastly we have Diablo Immortal……. Okay maybe not…..
That’s it for my top 10 list for 2019. There are definitely other big titles that are coming soon such as Aion, Tales of Crestoria, Another Eden, The King of Fighters All Star, Yuyu Hakusho, Mario Kart Tour, Attack on Titan, Jump Collection 2, Revolvers 8, Durango and many more. So remember to check out the site everyday to make sure you don’t miss out on any of these new releases. Also, please follow my Facebook Page, YouTube Page and Twitch streams.
