Recommended Team

Normal mode is pretty easy, just bring along your best units and you can win it. Enemy deals very minimal damage in this mode.

For faster clear, bring along Pigeot or Raichu to cleave the enemy team.

Enemy:

Pokemon Element Weakness HP
Torkoal Fire Water ~2900
Pidgeot Flying Rock ~7500
Machamp Fighter Flying ~1700

Recommended Team

Hard mode is just a tat more difficult than Normal mode. You should still be able to easily breeze through the fight if your Pokemon are at level 80 and above.

Budget Team:

  1. Raichu – AOE to clear both Torkoal and Machamp
  2. Tyranitar / Roark / Korrina – Main ST DPS on Pidgeot
  3. Any other support to buff the team

Expensive Team:

  1. Raichu / Pidgeot – AOE to clear Torkoal and Machamp, can quickly generate Team Ulti
  2. Lycanroc / Tyranitar – Main ST DPS on Pidgeot
  3. Any other support to buff the team

Although Pidgeot is the featured summon for this event, it doesn’t really do much damage compared to Raichu. Air Cutter’s Power is only at 51 while Raichu’s Discharge Power is at 110. Pidgeot will only be better when it turns into Mega form. However, since the event only has Hard Mode at the highest difficulty, both adds will probably die before Pidgeot can become Mega.

Lycanroc is definitely the MVP for this event. You can easily kill Pidgeot in 2.5 turns with 3 Lycanroc.
