Earlier today at its 10th anniversary celebration, Riot Games has announced a brand new League of Legends game called Wild Rift that will be coming to both mobile devices and unspecified consoles.
Based on the announcement trailer, we know that this is a brand new LOL game that was developed from scratch and not just a direct port over from the PC version. Matches will be shorter lasting from 15 to 20 minutes per game. A responsive dual-stick control scheme, designed exclusively for new platforms, makes sure your skillshots on mobile feel as crisp as they do on PC.
At launch, there will be 40 champions for Players to try out with more favorites in the future.
