Riot Games has announced that the mobile version of Legends of Runeterra is now available for download from Singapore’s Google Play and Apple App Store. Additionally, Singapore will gain access to the Legends of Runeterra PC Open Beta that is currently live for other regions, so players will get to enjoy the game and access the same content cross-platform on PC and mobile.
If you have played any recent online CCG such as Hearthstone or Shadowverse, you’ll find Legends of Runterra a little familiar and probably easier to pick up. You play cards when you have enough mana and the eventually defeat the enemy’s Nexus.
The unique element about the game is the Champion. Each champion card that you play can be leveled up when certain requirements are fulfilled. For example, Zed can level up if she attacks the enemy Nexus twice while Lux needs to cast a 6+ mana spell in order for her to level.
Besides buying card packs, there are currently 2 other “Skins” that Players can buy; The Boards and Guardians. Guardians are little animated critters “stationed” at the corner of your board.
