Currently, there are 4 different ways to obtain gear; Conqueror Challenge, Unnatural Disaster, Club Challenge and Gear Mall. However, do note that different set pieces are available in different game modes.

Game Mode Set Piece
Conqueror Challenge Swordsman, Gangster, Lightning, Martial Arts, Prisoner, Battle, Scholar, Monk, Casual
Unnatural Disaster Swordsman, Gangster, Lightning, Martial Arts, Prisoner, Battle, Scholar, Monk, Casual
Club Challenge Knight, Suit, Primal
Gear Mall Swordsman, Gangster, Lightning, Martial Arts, Prisoner, Battle, Scholar, Monk, Casual

Conqueror Challenge

The main method for obtaining gear is through the Conqueror Challenge. You can choose to play this mode Solo or in a Team (co-op) with 1 or 2 other players. Personally, I would recommend farming in a team as it requires lesser Vitality to enter. Vitality is another Stamina-like currency that is needed to enter a Conqueror Challenge match.

Each day, there will be 2 variable set pieces with 3 main set pieces for Players to farm.

Day Set Piece
Monday Lightning, Scholar, Martial Arts, Battle, Monk
Tuesday Swordsman, Gangster, Martial Arts, Battle, Monk
Wednesday Prisoner, Casual, Martial Arts, Battle, Monk
Thursday Lightning, Scholar, Martial Arts, Battle, Monk
Friday Swordsman, Gangster, Martial Arts, Battle, Monk
Saturday Prisoner, Casual, Martial Arts, Battle, Monk
Sunday Swordsman, Gangster, Lightning, Martial Arts, Prisoner, Battle, Scholar, Monk, Casual

Each time you defeat a Floor on Solo, you can proceed to the next floor. However, there are still restrictions based on your level. For example, the highest Floor a Player from level 31-39 can farm is on Floor 3, while Players from level 40 onwards can farm on Floor 6. The higher the floor, the higher the chances of dropping a piece of gear with a higher quality.

Here are some tips on farming the Conqueror Challenge especially in a team.

  • Take note of the overall team’s composition and try to include every Faction so that you can activate a Core Skill buff.
  • Recommended Core Skill is from Child Emperor as every time you do a critical damage, you receive 2 Energy Orb.
  • When using auto mode, make sure you turn-off your Saitama’s Auto activation so that you can use save his Punch for the final Boss.
  • Host can turn on “Quick Mode” while Participants can turn on “Auto-Ready” to AFK farm the stage.

Unnatural Disaster

The Unnatural Disaster is a system where Players team up with 2 other Players to take down Dragon-level Bosses such as Pluton. Although the HP for the boss is not very high, the damage output for the boss can be dangerous if your characters are not strong enough.

There are 2 phases in this fight. Phase 1 is during Pluton’s first 2 HP bar. Pluton will attack the front row and has a chance to inflict “Burn”. Having a powerful tank can help mitigate the damage taken by the front row.

Phase 2 is when Pluton is at its last HP Bar. He will go “Berserk” and his attack will hit all ally characters. The trick for this is to quickly kill Pluton within 2 turns when it reaches Phase 2.

Recommended Characters Details
Child Emperor To unlock Core Skill. Each time a character hits a critical attack, you can recharge 2 Energy Orb. This will allow your team to do more Ultimate Skill.
Atomic Samurai A 2-Star Atomic Samurai can do Follow-up DMG to the Boss. If your team has 3 Atomic Samurai, each Atomic Samurai can follow up twice for a total of 3 additional hits to the boss.
Deep Sea King One of the most powerful Single Target DMG Dealer in the game right now. The Normal Attack can also do Corrode on the Boss.
Amai Mask Another one of the most powerful Single Target DMG dealer in the game and he is only a SR character. He can inflict “Injury” on the boss which grants 50% extra DMG.
Carnage Kabuto One of the best characters in the game. Carnage Kabuto is a great DMG Dealer with self-sustain. He can easily heal back all the damage that he has taken.
Superalloy Blackluster Tank and mitigate most of the front row damage during Phase 1.

Club Challenge

The Club Challenge is similar to a Raid Boss system that can only be participated by Club Members. Defeating the boss can grant you rare chests that contain Gears, Vouchers, and other valuable items. You are rewarded based on your total damage on the boss. Each day, you have about 2 free chances to attack the boss while having the option to attack more with additional Club Tokens or Crystals. Do note that you can only obtain the Knight, Suit and Primal Gear Set from the Club Challenge.

Gear Section

Lastly, you can obtain Gears by buying them from the Mall. You can purchase Gears using Gear Vouchers that are obtained by dismantling your unwanted Gears.

There are many ways to upgrade your characters in the game however, gearing is the only way that can differentiate your Atomic Samurai from another Atomic Samurai or your Golden Ball with another Golden Ball. The type of gear set you choose to use or the different stats enabled by each piece of gear will determine how differently your character will perform. Most importantly, you need be mindful of your team’s Line-up and strategize accordingly to make full use of their potential.

Other Tips

Occasionally, the Publisher will send freebies to the Players that are useful for progression. This can be in the form of a Mail or Special Gift Codes. Remember to turn on your Notification for the game so that you will not miss out on any of the freebies. Additionally, do take note of the World Chat in the game as some Players might share different Gift Codes.
