Square Enix has announced that the Final Fantasy VI: Pixel Remaster is now available for Android and iOS. You can now purchase it from your local App or Play Store for $17.99 (USD).
Some of you may know that I do not usually write about paid mobile games unless it’s something special and Final Fantasy VI definitely belong to this category of “special”. This is the last pixelated Final Fantasy game and is also one of the best Final Fantasy game in terms of the story plot and the main antagonist.
The Pixel Remaster breathes new life to the current game with new upgraded graphics and audio. Square Enix have done a great job in sharpening the 2D pixel graphics to suit modern day visuals.
The gameplay is still the same as the original one we loved. This is a turn-based JRPG with a wonderful storyline and character development. If you are new to the series, I strongly suggest starting with this and then move on the VII. You will not be disappointed.
