Clover Retribution Levelling Guide

Levelling up is critical in any RPG Adventure game as it gives you access to more map area, stronger gear, harder bosses and more questlines. In Clover Retribution, your level somewhat corresponds to your Stats which control your entire player build and survivability.

Also, some items and weapons are locked behind a level cap. This means you must source EXP from somewhere if you want to truly kit out and be tough enough to take on the recent challenges such as Hell and the Devils.

Races

An unsuspecting choice is lineages that offer EXP buffs. When you first join Clover Retribution, you’ll auto-roll into a race but have the option to reroll using Spins.

  • Human – Common (46%)
    • +25% EXP Gain

Quests

Rather obvious, but completing the game quests offers more EXP than exploring and lunging into combat without a plan. Quests offer huge diversity between collection quests, crafting quests and slaughter quests.

If you performed these tasks independently outside of having it as an active quest, you’d earn less or no EXP. So, why not bulk and dive right into the Clover Retribution lore by speaking to NPCs and collecting their challenges?

Bosses

Bosses offer more EXP than their subordinates. Typically, each Boss has a Quest NPC to speak to first which significantly increases the EXP income on defeat. However, if you’re strong enough to bully Bosses then simply farming and defeating them can be a great way to level up.

Raids

Raids are great to do with a party or fellow server mates. This game mode tends to be quite difficult to complete, but plentiful on the loot as a payoff. Currently, Clover Retribution has two Raid types:

  • Aetherstone Isle
    • +1,000 EXP (Weapon, Magic, Mastery)
  • Medusa, The Cursed Gorgon
    • Gorgon: 650 EXP (Weapon, Magic, Mastery)
    • Easy/Medium: +4,500 EXP (Weapon, Magic, Mastery)
    • Hard: +6,750 EXP (Weapon, Magic, Mastery)

Events

Events happen at random and summon a strong enemy for players to hunt and defeat in exchange for high-grade loot and that delicious EXP.

  • Terra The Bandit Lord
    • +350 EXP
  • Warlord Of The Grasslands
    • +500 EXP

Summoning Dragons

Finally, the DBZ-esque feature. Clover Retribution has 3 Dragons which players may summon if they have 7 numbered dragon balls of the same type (Must be numbered from 1-7). Each Dragon offers the player one wish of their desire, with EXP as a sought-after choice:

  • Pyrrhix, The Ember Scale
    • I want to be stronger! – +12,000 EXP, +10,000 Magic Mastery, +10,000 Weapon Mastery
  • Verdagon, The Forest Guardian
    • I want to be stronger! – +35,000 EXP, +18,000 Magic Mastery, +18,000 Weapon Mastery
  • Maligon, The Corrupt Wraith
    • I want to be stronger! – +50,000 EXP, +30,000 Magic Mastery, +30,000 Weapon Mastery
