Kamitsubaki Studio will release the new Moonless Moon Visual Novel on August 8th, 2024. This is an indie adventure game following a girl by the name of Yomichi as she explores and travels through different worlds.

Visit New Worlds When The Sun Sets

Yomichi is a student who lives a seemingly average life. That is, while the sun is up. However, once the sun sets and it is dark, she gets transported into different worlds. Sometimes this world is an island in the sky, in others it is a desert on the moon, and sometimes it is a hidden and mysterious coffee shop in the middle of a tunnel.

The more she explores, the more she wishes she could permanently live in these worlds. She also makes friends along the way who she forms close bonds with. As she goes on her endeavours, she starts to learn about these worlds she visits, and what they mean not only to her now… but also to her future.

One of the most critical parts of the Moonless Moon Visual Novel is the player’s choices. The game remembers each decision made, which alters the eventual ending. As players traverse, they’ll be faced with multiple options for dialogue. Any choices made alter the direction of the game and determine how both your, and Yomichi’s, story ends.

The game also lets you solve different riddles and puzzles that complete the story. During the brain-teasers, players must search for keywords and place them correctly to progress. Moonless Moon also has unique and original soundtracks complete with animated music videos, amplifying its gripping feel, and making the game more interactive and immersive.
