A squeal to Steam Prison, called Steam Prison Beyond The Steam, has a scheduled launch date for November 28th, 2024 for The Nintendo Switch and Steam.

Steam Prison Beyond the Steam takes place two years after the original Steam Prison Game, and it follows on from the ‘Grand Ending’. It begins with the heroine riding a buggy and arriving in a land called Cainable. From here, the player meets two Kings, and the adventure begins.
Cainable is split into two areas: The Heights and The Depths. The Heights are a utopia, the latter being where the main character comes from. However, The Depths offers nothing and is an empty waste-filled land. In her adventure, she must make her way down to The Depths to change the future of her world.
One day, the heroine joins an expedition, whose goal is to investigate the fog that surrounds the Depths. She joins King Jevite, Fin, Ulrik, and Adage. After spending time with them on the journey, she starts to deepen her relationship with them. After getting to know each character, the player can choose one to romance and play their route.
A New Theory
The release of this DLC also includes an additional storyline called ‘A New Theory’, which features new characters and different routes. In this storyline, the main character must confront the injustice in her world. She decides to make a deal with the Hounds, who clear her name. With a clean slate, she sets off to create a new life.
The disk also includes a minigame called Petit Prison. Which features new characters as well as some voice acting that doesn’t appear in the main game.
