A new fantasy action RPG, Elrentaros Wanderings will soon release on Nintendo Switch this August 16th. The game will later be available on Steam on August 22nd, 2024.
Enter A New World
Players enter the cosy world of Elrentaros, a small town away from the capital of Melvania. On arrival, the protagonist of this tale faces a variety of residents seeking their help with odd jobs. After a hard day of helping and building a foundation of friendship between them, it’s time to rest. After drifting to sleep, a bright light shocks you back to the ‘real’ world.
When the player enters this alternate world, the familiar townsfolk from Elrentaros appear. However, they no longer seem to remember you… In Elrentaros Wanderings, it is your job to find out which world is real, and why you’re in a tiring limbo of travelling back and forth between two mirrored worlds.
Whilst searching for the answers, players venture into the core of Elrentaros to complete quests assigned by villagers in daunting dungeons. Once you complete a dungeon, you can choose a new ‘Challenge Level.’ where a variety of weapons and armour are available as loot to create the perfect build and succeed in higher-level dungeons with stronger bosses.
A Hint Of Otome
Although Elrentaros Wanderings isn’t classed as an Otome, there are ten ‘Partner Characters’ who you can form closer bonds and relationships with. Send them gifts, and complete tasks they set to increase the friendship level.
Whilst there isn’t a set character route for the partner character candidates, you can invite them into your tent and have a meal with them. Wholesome!
