Lost Souls Races Guide
Players begin as humble humans who have nothing of interest about them. The most a human can do is perish to become a Spirit. Spirits have a Chain hanging from their chest that devours a part of itself every 30 seconds until it’s completely gone which then turns the player into a Hollow.
Alternatively, during the Chaining process, a player can look for a Shinigami player to perform a Soul Burial, or find the Rukia NPC to become a Shinigami themselves.
Hollow Race
Hollows must go through numerous stages of evolution before they eventually prestige into an Arrancar or Vasto Lorde. The first stage of a Hollow’s progression includes weak stats and no special abilities.
- Hollow – The default
- Gillian – The second evolution triggered after 200-250 Hollow (NPC) kills. This evolution has high health but moves slowly.
- Adjuchas – After completing the Inner World battle, the player will ascend to Adjuchas. Adjuchas have high speed and high DMG.
- Vasto Lorde – The final stage of a Hollow evolution after 500-550 Hollow (NPC) kills. Vasto Lorde is a parallel lineage to Arrancars, however have access to a different skill tree. The Vasto Lorde race cannot unlock the HP and Reiatsu upgrades and cannot the Hakuda Skill Tree.
Arrancar
Arrancars branch from the Hollow race, but don’t follow the evolutionary rules. To become an Arrancar, the player must rip off their Hollow mask by pressing ‘U’ and completing a mini-game.
In comparison to Vasto Lorde, they have access to Resurrection, Bala, Cero and Hierro. An Arrancars Kido Skill tree scales from their leading Stat, making Reiatsu obsolete. (Which mirrors the counterpart, Vasto Lorde, who mains Reiatsu builds.)
- Menoscar – If the mask is torn off during the Gillian evolution
- Adjucar – Birthed from the success of tearing off the mask during the Adjucha evolution
- Vastocar – The strongest version of an Arrancar created when a Vasto Lorde tears off their mask
Shinigami Race
Shinigami users gain access to a plethora of combat stances including Shikai, Bankai Visored, True Bankai and the Kido Skill Tree. However, at their default, their main stats sit quite low.
