Nintendo has launched a brand new app available on Google Play and IOS called Nintendo Music. Taking inspiration from other music streaming apps such as Spotify, it allows fans to play their favourite soundtracks and themes from a variety of franchises, both new and old.
The app is available for Nintendo Switch Online members. If you aren’t signed up, you can do so by visiting the official Nintendo Switch Online website. By signing up and downloading, you can play music from franchises such as Zelda, Pokémon, Mario Bros, Splatoon, Animal Crossing, and more. The official trailer showcased many more, which you can watch below.
Nintendo Music Offers Unique Features For Personalisation
For fans worried about spoilers, Nintendo Music allows users to toggle their settings and hide tracks that may hint towards possible spoilers in the game. There is also the option to extend the track and loop the song, letting you enjoy it for longer.
Like any other streaming service, the app also has the option to create playlists. Nintendo Music also comes with pre-existing character playlists that feature their music and iconic themes. Including ones for Yoshi, Zelda, and K.K Slider. This is perfect if you have a favourite character in mind, and you want to pay tribute to them. Alongside this, you will also be able to select pre-made mood playlists, which you can search for within the app.
Frequent planned updates will add more music and playlists later. If you’re struggling to find a specific song or character, it’ll only be a matter of time until it becomes available.
Nintendo Music is available for download on Google Play and the App Store. As you’re listening to your favourite tracks, why not play a new game too? We have a news piece covering the Death Note Among Us game that will be released next week.
