Jujutsu Odyssey Cursed Techniques Guide
To awaken, or rather, unlock your Cursed Technique, you’ll end up on one of four obtainment paths to receive a Cursed Womb.
- Cursed Womb
- Spawn around the map every 1-2 hours, and despawn in 30 minutes unless found.
- Or, complete the Jujutsu Tech Entrance Exam.
- Or, defeat the Azure Maw spirit. (Check the next bullet point)
- Complete the secret ending of a Raid.
- Azure Maw
- The Azure Maw Claw Spirit spawns at 20:00 in-game and will drop a Cursed Womb to the player who dealt the most damage. Otherwise, it drops Grade 3 Chest Loot.
Once you’ve obtained a Cursed Womb, you’ll need to claim your Technique by ‘Absorbing’ the Womb to bind it to your player. Once consumed, select ‘Cursed Technique’ and browse your newfound power in the Skill Tree menu.
Legendary Cursed Techniques
At the top of the food chain are the terrifyingly strong Legendary Techniques!
Shrine (Sukuna Vessel) Mastery
- Dismantle – Unleash consecutive slashes on an opponent. Requires 3 Skill Points.
- Reaper’s Retreat – Dash back whilst unleashing a forward slash that cuts through anything in its line of AoE. Requires 3 Skill Points and Mastery Level 20.
- Demon’s Wrath – Grab an opponent and slam them around before hurling them away. Requires 3 Skill Points and Mastery Level 31.
- Cleave – Jump and fire a wide slash, dealing damage to anything it touches. Requires 3 Skill Points and Mastery Level 37.
- Crimson Web – Marks the ground with a web that ensnares targets, forcing them to halt. Requires 3 Skill Points and Mastery Level 58.
- Ascendant Slash – Rushes opponents and sends them upwards. Requires 3 Skill Points and Mastery Level 72.
- Ascendant Slash II – Rushes opponents and sends them upwards with a slash. Requires 2 Skill Points and Mastery Level 91.
- Abyssal Firebolt – Summon a firey arrow and launch it at a target to trap it in intense flames. Requires 3 Skill Points and Mastery Level 85.
- Domain Expansion: Malevolent Shrine – Conjure a barrierless domain that guarantees devastating slashing hits to anyone inside. Requires 12 Skill Points and Mastery Level 120.
- Enchain (Awakening) – Boosts power and Cursed Energy whilst reducing damage intake temporarily. Requires 10 Skill Points and Mastery Level 91.
Limitless Mastery
- Lapse Blue – Pulls objects and targets towards the spawned portal. Requires 3 Skill Points.
- Infinity – Creates an impenetrable barrier around the player making them untouchable. Requires 3 Skill Points and Mastery Level 28.
- Maximum Output: Blue – Manifests as a blue orb which orbits the player and damages anything it touches. Requires 3 Skill Points and Mastery Level 36.
- Reversal Red – Triggers a shockwave, pushing entities away. Requires 3 Skill Points and Mastery Level 46.
- Maximum Output: Red – A more intense version of Reversal Red, obliterating anything pushed away. Requires 3 Skill Points and Mastery Level 59.
- I Understand It Now – Teleport behind enemies and automatically trigger a Reversal Red. Requires 3 Skill Points and Mastery Level 66.
- Imaginary Technique: Purple – Fuse Red and Blue creating a devastating projectile. Requires 3 Skill Points and Mastery Level 80.
- Hollow Purple – Fuse Red and Blue to form a purple orb that obliterates everything. Requires 3 Skill Points and Mastery Level 99.
- Domain Expansion: Unlimited Void – Conjure a domain of endless space that overwhelms targets, rendering them immobilized and defenceless. Requires 12 Skill Points and Mastery Level 125.
Disaster Flames Mastery
- Volcanic Eruption – Conjures an eruption simulation on a target. Requires 3 Skill Points.
- Hellfire Beam – Fires a concentrated beam of fire at an enemy. Requires 3 Skill Points and Mastery Level 17.
- Molten Rainfall – The player leaps and encases their fist in a fire that they shoot downwards to rain hot lava on targets below. Requires 3 Skill Points and Mastery Level 30.
- Infernal Grasp – Conjure hands of fire that clasp over a target and explode. Requires 3 Skill Points and Mastery Level 48.
- Blazing Skull Eruption – Encases the target’s head in flames whilst the castor moves behind them to deal a firey punch that explodes on impact. Requires 6 Skill Points and Mastery Level 54.
- Domain Expansion: Coffin of the Iron Mountain – Conjure a domain, appearing as a volcanic landscape, firing unavoidable fire-based attacks at targets ensnared inside. Requires 12 Skill Points and Mastery Level 78.
- Hellfire Incarnate (Awakening) – The player engulfs themselves in flames, dealing burn damage to any enemy that attacks them whilst also boosting the player’s cursed energy by 65%. Requires 10 Skill Points and Mastery Level 61.

Boogie Woogie Mastery
- Clap – Swap positions with allies or enemies in range. Requires 3 Skill Points.
- Clap II – Increases the range of effect of the Clap skill. Requires 2 Skill Points.
- Teleporting Stone Strike – Launches a rock at an enemy and instantly teleports the player on contact to perform a follow-up dropkick. Requires 3 Skill Points.
- Boogie Mark – Marks an ally or enemy to instantaneously swap positions with them whenever the castor claps in range. Requires 3 Skill Points and Mastery Level 23.
- Boogie Mark II – Mark two allies or enemies at once, switching them instead of the player. Requires 2 Skill Points and Mastery Level 30.
- Deceptive Suplex – Hone in on an attacker during a feint Clap and slam into them with huge strength. Requires 4 Skill Points and Mastery Level 34.
- Deceptive Suplex II – Resets the cooldown on the Clap. Requires 2 Skill Points and Mastery Level 60.
- Echoing Onslaught – Rushes enemies, teleporting into their space and delivering consecutive blows from all angles. Requires 5 Skill points and Mastery Level 46.
- Awakening – Conjure a Takada to boost the player’s morale, giving a +45% Cursed Energy Boost and increasing Boogie Woogie range. Requires 10 Skill Points and Mastery Level 54.
Cursed Speech Mastery
- Don’t Move – Freezes enemies in place. Requires 3 Skill Points
- Get Crushed – Drops an immense weight of cursed speech onto a target. Requires 3 Skill Points and Mastery Level 15.
- Cough Syrup – Protects the user from Cursed Speech damage for 3 turns. Requires 3 Skill Points and Mastery Level 35.
- Cough Syrup II – Protects for 5 uses. Requires 2 Skill Points and Mastery Level 56.
- Explode – Enemies explode into flames, damaging them and other enemies in radius. Requires 4 Skill Points and Mastery Level 50.
- Blast Away – Pushes enemies away in a devastating blast. Requires 5 Skill Points and Mastery Level 60.
- Resistance (Passive) – No longer take damage from Cursed Speech Skills. Requires 4 Skill Points and Mastery Level 75.
Common Cursed Techniques
Finally, the lesser-appreciated Techniques.
- Soul Guitar
- Technique: Resonant Shred – Conjures a guitar that the user strums, releasing a shockwave of energy and damaging enemies in range. Requires 3 Skill Points.
- Power Riff – Charges energy into guitar riffs to build up and unleash massive Resonant Shred energy. Requires 3 Skill Points and Mastery Level 28.
- Cloning
- Technique: Clone – Creates a body double that follows the main host and fights any hostile mobs that get too close to the main unit. Requires 3 Skill Points
- Passive: Clone II – Spawns two clones when activating the Clone Skill. Requires 3 Skill Points and Mastery Level 20.
- Blaze of Glory – All active Clones will simultaneously self-destruct causing AoE DMG. Requires 3 Skill Points and Mastery Level 35.
