Enigma of Sepia Turns All Your Favourite Anime Characters Into Battle-Ready Waifus!

Enigma of Sepia releases in just over a week and has caused a whirlwind within the gacha community. This shameless RPG title gender-bends all our favourite anime protagonists and antagonists into female counterparts with on-the-nose naming and obvious design choices.

Despite its descent into potential legal trouble, Enigma of Sepia seems to have avoided copyright infringements and has dodged all issues to go full-steam ahead with its pre-order milestones. Let’s hope their units are just as good at evasion during combat!

Enigma of Sepia Lore, Milestones and More!

In this world of Champions, the player takes the role of a traveller who has arrived in Void City with impeccable timing. Sepia, a stray goddess of beauty begins to crave power and achieves this selfish goal by draining spirits across the universe to reclaim her once-grand title.

The Traveller must collect Soul Fruits whilst defeating Sepia’s avatars to restore universal peace and prevent further calamity. And who better to enlist with destiny in the player’s fingertips than suspiciously familiar champions plucked straight from the vast anime-verse? Check out the trailer below to see how many characters are recognisable!

With over 1.5 Million pre-orders at the time of writing, Enigma of Sepia has more than smashed its pre-order milestone goals. This will reward new players over a week from now with all kinds of rewards including a Kaneki-inspired unit, a unique icon decorative ring, 10 Cards, 1,888 Gems, 200k EXP tickets and 200k Tokens.

Not only that, players who pre-order the game have a chance to win an iPhone 16 Pro Max, iPad Air 11, an Apple Watch Series 10, and a pair of Airpods 4!
