Luffy Bodybuilding Competition Details

Contestants will present in front of judges from the MUSCLE GATE executive committee as well as editors from Weekly Shonen Jump Magazines.

The judges will rank based on more than just body structure. Whilst they have certain criteria to look for during each performance, participants will need to demonstrate a core adoration for the series through imaginative poses and iconic quotes from Luffy himself.

During the presentation, each competent will charm the judges by performing 6 poses whilst wearing Luffys shorts and strawhat. The poses include a front, back, pumped, Gear 2, and Gomu Gomu no Gatling pose. The final pose is up to the individual to choose based on what best showcases Luffys character, stretching both imagination and muscles!

The website for sign-ups provides examples of attendees’ outfit requirements and posing.

Defined V-taper, rounded shoulders and a well-toned waist. Strong posture and good walking balance. Clean, well-groomed hair and skin as well as a winning smile.
