First released in Japan on August 8th, 2024. Him, the Smile and Bloom will be available to download and play in Western countries on the 27th of February, 2025.
Flourish And Grow Relationships
Him, the Smile & Bloom begins as you work in Fill Flower, a flower shop. However, compared to other Otome games where the player has a relationship with one of the love interests, Him, the Smile & Bloom focuses on couples.
There are four romances and love matches for you to explore and get to know. The game takes a more mature and unique approach to dating and relationships in the modern world. And the highs and lows involved.
Wataru, Ginnosuke, Hokuto, and Tenya are the love interests. There are a total of 12 endings for players to enjoy. Him, the Smile & Bloom also takes a different approach to these as well. Otome games are known for having good and bad endings (and sometimes neutral ones, too!). However, in this game, each couple’s futures offer something you can enjoy, even if there is no romantic outcome.
Once you complete the ‘Glow’ or ‘Best’ ending of a couple, players will unlock side stories. These additional playable storylines allow you to explore your favourite characters and couples and spend more time with them.
Aside from a unique and refreshing take on Otome games, Him, the Smile & Bloom has a detailed and vibrant art style. There is also voice acting to go alongside each scene, with the upcoming Western release having an edited and updated script for fans to enjoy.
