Ninja Time Sub-Jujutsu Guide – What Is A Sub-Jujutsu?
As implied by the name, Sub-Jujutsu is a secondary skill less effective than its higher kin. That said, in a pinch, having a Sub-Jujutsu available to use could make the difference between life and death.
Sub-Jujutsu Obtainments and Skills
Most Sub-Jujutsu skills require Skill Points and Ninjutsu or Taijutsu to invest in. Fortunately, they’re not too hard to obtain since they’re not overly flashy. Let’s get into it!
- Substitution
- Requirements: 5 Ninjutsu
- Skill Point Investment: 1 SP
- Damage/Skill: 0 – This Skill allows the player to teleport a short distance.
- Cooldown: 8 Seconds
- Performance Cost (Chakra): 10 Chakra
- Overview: This skill is great for evasion and getting the drop. When swarmed by enemies, triggering this Sub-Jujutsu allows the player to escape conflict before they perish. Similarly, it’s great for getting the drop on unsuspecting enemies to get the starting upper hand in combat.
- Substitution Trap
- Requirements: 5 Ninjutsu
- Skill Point Investment: 1 SP
- Damage/Skill: 0 – This Skill allows the player to teleport others a short distance.
- Cooldown: 8 Seconds
- Performance Cost (Chakra): 10 Chakra
- Overview: Essentially the same as the other Substitution move, except this time other players are shifted around, allowing the castor to gain control of the field and placement of their enemies.
- Drunk Jujutsu
- Requirements: 20 Taijutsu
- Skill Point Investment: 1 SP
- Damage/Skill: 0 damage. Applies Drunk Mode, restoring +5 Chakra per second.
- Cooldown: 5 Seconds
- Performance Cost (Chakra): 0 Chakra
- Overview: This passive Jujutsu restores Chakra in a short time frame, allowing for a quick stockpile to unleash stronger attacks that may require more of an investment. It even helps with the Substitution Trap, which requires 10 Chakra.
