Rune Slayer Goblin King Guide
The vicious Goblin King resides in the Withered Thicket within an arena appropriately named Goblin Kings Arena. Not to be confused with the Goblin Cave in the Wilderness near Wayshire, which has only youngling Goblins.
To pick up the Goblin King quest, head to Greatwood Forest, find Ashenshire, the wooden village in the trees. Then, speak to the Kliff NPC, who will tell you about the Goblin King. Next, find the Issa NPC, who resides halfway down the cavern at Withered Thicket. You may take fall damage trying to reach her, so make sure you’re at full health before plummeting!
Issa will give you the Goblin King quest and ask that you slay him. Head East to find his Arena.
Goblin King Drops
On defeat, the Goblin King has a chance to drop any of the following items:
- Tyle
- Legendary Sword (Level 40)
- Physical DMG: 11
- +18 Strength
- +6 Stamina
- +1% Crit Chance
- +3% Physical Pierce
- +3% Hemorrhage buildup per hit
- Merchant Ring
- +10% Money gain from all sources. +10% Item Value when selling to merchants.
- Cataclysm
- Legendary Greataxe (Level 40)
- Physical DMG: 24
- +30 Strength
- +10 Spirit
- +5 Stamina
- +6% Physical Pierce
- Goblin King’s Club
- Legendary Greatsword (Level 40)
- Physical DMG: 19
- +24 Strength
- +2% Crit Chance
- +3% Physical Pierce
- Fighter’s Ring
- Deals +5% ATK DMG on basic attacks when wearer is below 10% HP. Does not proc on Crits.
- Paladin’s Ring
- Crit DMG taken is reduced by 20%.
- Mana Cleaver
- Curse: Eclipse
- Only useable for the Demon Sect. Drains Focus/HP. Requires Fire Fairy.
- Blessing: Cho
- Only useable for the Holy Sect. Drains Mana/HP. Requires Earth Fairy.
