If you’ve taken a trip to Nilgarf recently, you may have met with a familiar face… Frieren has joined Vesteria, and has a quest for keen players. This Vesteria Elven Hero Quest guide breaks down each Tome into easy-to-complete tasks and tells you the rewards!

Vesteria Elven Hero Quest Guide
The Elven Hero questline breaks up into four key components: Mushroom Tome, Cursed Tome, Tree of Life Tome, and Nilgarf Tome. You can complete these in any order, but for the quickest completion, I recommend following this:
Nilgarf Tome
- Start by visiting the Bookkeeper and using the stairs behind her to enter the top floor.
- You can also enter through the windows from the outside.
- Interact with the yellow book on the shelf to the left, which triggers a secret door to unlock.
- Enter the room and smash the glass dome, taking the Nilgarf Tome.
Mushroom Tome
- Leave the Bookkeeper’s House and travel to Mushtown.
- When in town, wait for nightfall and locate the glowing mushroom. Stepping on it will bounce you in the direction of a chest.
- Break open the chest (typically hidden in a tree beside a waterfall) to claim the Mushroom Tome.
Tree of Life Tome
- Next, head to the Tree of Life to fight the Enchiridion Boss.
- The boss spawns in 20-minute intervals, starting on the hour. For example: 8:20 am, 8:40 am, 9:00 am, and so on.
Cursed Tome
- When the boss falls, use a Cursed Rune to locate Cursed Terul’s Maw.
- Drop down to find the desolate pirate ship.
- Fight and defeat the Cursed Chest for the remaining Tome.
- With the final Tome, head back to Nilgarf to complete the quest.
Elven Hero Quest Rewards
For your hard efforts, you’ll gain three rewards, with the highlight being the Elven Hero Staff, inspired by Frieren!
