Vermillion is one of the first major bosses all players eventually face at the start of the game. My Arise Crossover Vermillion guide tells you where to find this ferocious foe, how to defeat him, and how to arise him as your own!

Arise Crossover Vermillion – Who Is He?

Vermillion is one of two gate bosses in Leveling City. Or the sole one if you don’t count Monarch from Double Dungeons.

He’s a hefty mob, and most early-game players’ first boss experience if they join a Leveling City Dungeon.

Joining A Dungeon

Dungeons spawn every 30 minutes and despawn after 15 minutes. The game will host a chatroom announcement per each spawn and tell players which island it’s appeared on. Vermillion spawns as the boss of the Leveling City dungeon.

If you don’t have a tough team, I recommend joining a party and tackling the dungeon with a fellow server player to enhance survivability and make it to the final room where this boss lies.

How To Defeat and Arise!

Arising is entirely RNG-based, and the higher his rank, the harder it is to convince him to reform as a shadow soldier. This is also why I neglected to write any stats for his HP in the dungeon, or rank. A mob’s level and HP when fighting correspond to their rank when they become a shadow soldier.

When in the early game, enlisting Vermillion helps players surpass limitations and move onto the next island. To defeat him, you’ll need an already decent team of high-level and ranking units. I recommend trialing the Leveling City dungeon a few times and attempting to arise the mobs in here as they’re typically stronger than their island counterparts.

With a team of dungeon-reformed shadows, you should be strong enough to take on Vermillion.
