F2P gaming hubs are great, but they always seem to capture a younger audience. Places like Friv and Roblox don’t always intrigue the masses, especially those who love a long-term game with saved progression.
So enter G123, a website with a healthy roster of games to play for free. No signup or spending is required, and your progress is even saved to your browser.
G123 prides itself on its variety of gacha-centric MMO-RPGS,FT Idles, Card games, Simulations, and more. Each game plays in the browser with no external downloads.
The games aren’t gimmicky either, with recognisable titles both already available and upcoming. We’re particularly excited to try Miss Kobayashi’s Dragon Maid Fantasia when it releases!
So I’m A Spider, So What? Ruler of The Labyrinth
First we tried So I’m a Spider, So What? Ruler of The Labyrinth. This mouthful of a title immediately captured our attention with its creepy crawly protagonist and her encouraging attitude to escape being cannibalised by her mother and hatchling brethren.
As you traverse the seemingly endless stages to the dungeon, you’ll accumulate armoury upgrades to wear, or dismantle if they’re weaker than your current get-up. Who knew seeing a spider wear funky glasses and collars would be so cute?
The game makes it easy to lose track of time with idle and active gameplay and motivational speeches spoken by our 8-legged protagonist.
There are tons of skills to enhance, allies to enlist, upgrades to unlock, and freebies to aid in all of that progression. No more twiddling your thumbs; it’s time to twiddle some webs!
Queen’s Blade Limit Break
Queen’s Blade Limit Break was addictive from the get-go. It dogpiles with freebies and an easy-to-digest tutorial and then spoils new players with stunning units from its several gacha banners.
The units have different outfit skins to unlock, but before that, you’ll uncover their unique battle stances and individual upgrades. Combat gives infinite freedom with a huge roster of beautiful women (as the game puts it) to fight by your side.
When you’re done dressing them up and watching them destroy enemies, Queen’s Blade Limit Break offers tons of engaging minigames to play for more loot.
Or, if you need something to motivate you, the game has an expansive backlog of ongoing events with limited-time units, skins, items, and more to unlock, allowing this game to be enjoyed by those who prefer laid-back and hands-on gaming.
Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest
Finally we tried out Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest – a long title but one that isn’t compensating for anything, fortunately.
This is a stylish fantasy RPG that sees you playing as the world’s strongest synergist, Hajime Nagumo, and you meet various heroines such as Yue and Shea.
The core gameplay is tap controlled battles, where you shoot a range of enemies to progress and strengthen your team. You can also earn hammers to use in battles to make the battles more
Yes, the core gameplay isn’t groundbreaking but Arifureta (no, we’re not typing out that full title again) is a lot of fun in short bursts.
So if you’re interested in checking out G123 for yourself, visit this link. Unsure of where to start? We recommend Queen’s Blade Limit Break!
Of the three games we tried, this one was the hardest to pull away from. Or see what else is available if you fancy exploring titles for yourself.
G123 just announced that Doraemon Comic Traveler is coming to the service shortly too, with pre-registration now open with rewards for the first 100,000 users.
So with a huge variety of games to play right now for free and more on the way, what are you waiting for?
