Nexon has announced the official launch of their latest Mobile game, Heroes of Incredible Tales (HIT). The game is now available on both the Korean App and Play Store. However, unlike other games, there seems to be some region lock mechanic. Read on to find out how to play the game!

Heroes of Incredible Tales is an Action RPG game made with Unreal Engine 4. The game’s developed by game studio NAT-Games and Yong Hyun Park, the man behind Lineage 2 and Tera is in charged of producing the game.

At first, I thought that the game will be a little clanky as the sound effects of the armor clashing is really bad and generic. Especially if you’ve played Mage characters in ARPG mobile games, we’re always the most disadvantage class in early levels. However, the game’s control turned out to be pretty smooth. In fact, this is one of the most responsive ARPG mobile game I’ve ever played in terms of character movement and response. I had no problems directing my character, targeting and attacking the enemies. As the game does not have a roll-over button, Players will need tap the defend button to timely dodge the enemy’s attack and counter-attack them.

There are 4 classes to choose from. The first is a guy with a giant sword, who’s most probably a warrior. Then we have the petite Mage class. A dual-wielder and lastly a sexy lady with her scythe. Each of these characters have their own unique skill and abilities for players to learn. You can equip a maximum of 4 abilities during the fight. You can earn skill points by leveling up your character or buying them with gems. I know this is the norm for Mobile ARPG games now where players are able to buy skill points with gems to quickly boost your characters, however, this is where PVP will not be so balanced.

The adventure mode consist of 180 different stages and there are other stuff to do such as Raids and Arena PVP. I have yet to try them all but will do it soon.

Heroes of Incredible Tales is out now on the Korean App and Play Store. You can actually play the game in English by changing the language. I’m pretty sure Nexon will be releasing the game globally pretty soon as the current English translations are “understandable” and better than most games already. However, if you can’t wait and would like to try the Korean version first, you will need to follow these steps:

Step 1 – Make sure you do not have the game yet. Uninstall the app if you need to.
Step 2 – Change your Phone Region and Language to South Korean.
Step 3 – Download the game.
Step 4 – Start playing.

If you want to play the game in English check out the video below as I’ve managed to find the option change the game’s language.

Sadly, if you change back your phone region or language to your original setting, the game will not work and you have to do step one again. If you really need to change back your settings, make sure you bind your account somehow if not, all data will be lost.
