I believe many of you have come across defensive teams that are so imbalance and impossible to kill. I decided to start a special post regarding OP defensive teams called Summoners War Team Spotlight (SWTS). I will update this special post whenever I encounter a outstanding defensive team that I cannot beat. I hope you guys will find this useful.
Criteria for consideration
1. Teams mentioned will be effective against most elements.
2. Will not include monsters with 5* monsters as not many of us will be able to form it.
Brief Introduction on types of defensive teams
In the early meta, most teams are using healer monsters to prolong the fight so that their towers can finish off the enemy team. However, with the recent patch where attackers are allowed to choose to “draw” the battle, I find this tactic being obsolete for the higher tier battles. In a defensive point of view, you will want to look weak so as to entice people to attack you but make them regret pressing the attack button. This is actually a good way to gain your ranking points. This is how i fell into a trap earlier today.
The Sylph-o-meter
Setup:
Leader : Water Sylph – Leader skill 19% ASP , Hailstorm (Aoe + Freeze for 1 turn)
Fire Hound (Sieq) : High ASP, High Damage, Team buff (asp+attk)
Water Amazon Eilln : Aoe attack which reduced attack gauge, Stun
Any Attack or Healer :
Basically the first 3 Monsters are your bread and butter in this build. On the first round, Â with the Attkspd buff, your fire hound will deal big damage to 1 target, water sylph will stun the team for a round. Therefore your opponent will skip a turn. Next, Sieq will cast his buff and your Amazon will deal AOE/stun. By then, your opponent should already be half dead.
Even if the opponent is using a full wind team, this build can still easily shred them to pieces with your Sieq and your 4th member. A good filler for your forth member will be Fire/dark Epi Priest, or any fire/wind Attack monster
Weak Against:
1. Higher Attkspd Team
2. Wind team with defensive runes.
