Artix Entertainment, the company behind Adventure Quest, one of the longest surviving browser game in our time, has started a new project called Adventure Quest 3D. The game is developed using the Unity3D engine and will be made available to play on the browser and mobile devices. They need your help funding the game!
I’m sure most of you at some point of your life have heard, tried or played Adventure Quest. This is probably one of those game that most people will have a strong love-hate relationship with. The game with the most “Miss” I’ve ever played in my life and yet always going back to when I run out of games to play (during my younger days). Now the guys at Artix Entertainment has decided to make the game even bigger by injecting 3D to the Adventure Quest world.
Adventure Quest 3D (AQ3D) is currently in Alpha and made available for all to try. If you haven’t played AQ for a long time, this will definitely bring back some nostalgic juices in you. The world is still as colourful as ever. I’ve tried the game for a bit and can see some potential in it.
Apparently, the company needs more budget to develop the game and will seek help through the Kickstarter campaign. If you’ve been playing Adventure Quest for a long time or have played Adventure Quest before, you can click on the links below to find out more.
Disclaimer: I do not know anyone from Artix Entertainment and do not gain anything from this article. I believe there’s potential in this game thus just wanted to spread the good news.
