Developed by HexagonNico, Ancient Mind launches on November 19th, 2024. It comes with its own original soundtrack, pretty visuals and graphics, and an in-depth storyline as you take on the role of an adventuring fox.
Ancient Mind uses old-school pixel graphics, taking inspiration from those iconic titles from the past. Here, you can explore a variety of dungeons, solve different types of puzzles, and fight monsters. Sounds a little familiar, and if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it!
The real aim of the game is to discover the truth about the ancient legends of the game’s world. To do so, players must solve puzzles that give you keys for you to find, locks to pick, and areas to uncover. You can view the official trailer below.
Explore Vast Lands And Dangerous Dungeons
Most of your clues lie in the depths of dungeons. Using a torch to guide you, you must explore these mysterious and dangerous areas that are filled with monsters who are trying to attack you and traps you must avoid. Monsters will also try to distract you and give you riddles to uncover and solve.
It’s not just your wits, though. You can wield different weapons in combat such as a bow, arrows, and swords. Many weapons serve purposes beyond combat, too. For example, bows and arrows trigger specific game mechanics, helping you uncover new paths, access secret passageways, and open ancient temples.
