Anime Rangers X Elements Guide
Let’s get right into it!
Elemental Type Match-ups
There are eight elements in total, which include:
- Lightning
- Strong Against: Ice
- Weak Against: Aqua
- Ice
- Strong Against: Fire
- Weak Against: Lightning
- Fire
- Strong Against: Leaves
- Weak Against: Ice
- Leaves
- Strong Against: Aqua
- Weak Against: Fire
- Aqua
- Strong Against: Lightning
- Weak Against: Leaves
- Moon
- Strong Against: Sun
- Weak Against: Sun
- Sun
- Strong Against: Dark and Moon
- Weak Against: Moon
- Dark
- Strong Against: None
- Weak Against: Sun
When facing enemies of a weaker element, your units gain an elemental advantage of x2 DMG. Similarly, when against enemies that have a stronger element, your units are at an elemental disadvantage, taking x2 DMG.
Why Type Match-ups Matter
Your team should consist of more than just high-rarity heavy hitters. Considering elemental type match-ups becomes important later in the game when enemies become tougher and push back more easily.
You should build your team around the meta, but consider elemental diversity if you want to continue surviving challenges and late-stage Ranger modes.
When you create a room, you’ll notice the main boss, possible rewards, and a recommended element. This hints at what the majority of enemies within that map have as their primary element.
For example, the Green Planet maps recommended type is Fire, meaning that the enemies of this world are primarily Leaf Elemental. If you take fire elemental rangers into combat, they’ll deal x2 DMG to the Green Planet enemies, but taking aqua rangers means taking x2 DMG from the enemies.
