Anime Vanguards Portals Guide
Portals aren’t too dissimilar from playing the World Story Modes. Essentially, on entry, you’re transported to a Map with a pre-loaded Stage. However, the enemies now have multipliers and elements of their own.
Luckily, Portals display their conditions when hovered over from inside a player’s inventory. Thankfully, it isn’t too complicated to team build around their challenges. That said, even seasoned players pre-warn about the difficulty of Portals within The Spider Forest, and those with Holy Element enemies.
To counter these tricker enemies, enlist Event Units and gain Multipliers that offset the increased enemy difficulty. Or, play the more forgiving maps such as Planet Namak and Shibuya Station.
After completing all 20 waves and defeating the checkpoint boss spawns, Portals might give other Portals as a reward. These range in Tiers and rarity from Mythic to Secret. Alongside more Portals, players may gain currency and Presents (If doing the Winter Event Portal).
Winter Event Portal
Inside the Play area connected to the hub, the Regnaw NPC sells a bunch of event items for Presents, as well as the Mythical rarity Winter Event Portal for 500 Gems. This special portal works the same as explained but has the bonus of potentially dropping the Secret Rartiy Regnaw unit on completion. Portals are the only way to obtain this unit.
Alongside the potential chance to gain this limited event unit, the Winter Event Portal drops Presents which exchange for Evolutionary items to prestige other Winter Event Units.
