Let’s get into the updated rankings!
S-Tier
The strongest units in Anime Vanguards as of update 0.5! With a roster of these characters in your team, you’ll quickly become overpowered and soar your way through the different game modes.
- Alocard (Vampire King) – Secret

- Song Jin Woo (Monarch) – Secret
- Song Jin Woo – Secret
- Igros (Elite Knight) – Secret
- Obita (Awakened) – Secret
- Renguko (Purgatory) – Secret
- Renguko – Secret
- Tengon (Flashiness) – Mythic
- Tengon – Mythic
- Akazo (Destructive) – Mythic
- Takadora – Legendary (Best Farm Unit!)
A-Tier
Great alternatives to the S-Tier units if you’re struggling to obtain them, or don’t vibe with their capabilities. These units work as great team fillers and are some of the best, they’re just not the strongest.

Don’t be put off by these average units. Whilst they nestle comfortably in the middle tier, they offer some niche uses and are great last-resort units with which to bulk your team out.

Sliding down the ranks, these C-Tier units begin to fall short and ideally should be avoided. Whilst they’re not the worst options, they’re still lacklustre and fail to support a team build.

D-Tier
The worst units in Anime Vanguards. Unless you’re an absolute beginner or avid collector of all units, I’d encourage you to refuse these characters a slot on your team.
