To celebrate the anime release of the Public School Arc, an upcoming Black Butler Public School Arc 22 Curry Collaboration will run between December 6th, 2024, and January 12th, 2025. This arc was first released on March 19th, 2012 in the manga. However, this was adapted into the anime and first released on April 13th, 2024.
Simply One Hell Of A Dish
The new Black Butler Public School Arc 22 Curry collaboration features multiple curries crafted from recipes over 100 years old. It also includes sweet treats, drinks, and a special menu to celebrate Ciel Phantomhive’s birthday which is on December 14th.
The food served comes with a picture of a character on top, paying tribute to them. If you’ve read or watched Black Butler, you’ll know how important curry is to Soma. And how much Ciel likes his sweet treats (and how against it Sebastian is).
With every order, you will receive a random coaster. With there being 8 in total, why not collect them all? Each one features a character that made an appearance in the most recent anime season. Sebastian, Ciel, Prince Soma, Edgar, Lawrence, Herman, Gregory, and Undertaker all have their own coaster.
It isn’t just curry that is available. Fans of the series can order a variety of merch from the website. Items include acrylic stands, badges, cutlery, chai tea, tote bags, bag charms, and more!
That Butler, In Future Collaborations?
At the moment, there are no more planned Black Butler collaborations. This may be due to the manga going on a hiatus earlier this year.
The last episode of the Public School Arc teased the anime adaptation of Emerald Witch Arc in June 2024. This was followed up with an Official Trailer. This will release at some point in 2025, which may lead to more collaborations. The good news for me is that they will finally animate William T. Spears again! (He’s my favourite).
