Black Butler x MAYLA Collaboration Releases Skirts Inspired By Ciel And Sebastian

The Black Butler x MAYLA Collaboration introduces two stylish skirts inspired by the uniforms worn in the Black Butler: Public School Arc. Pre-orders are now available on the official MAYLA website. Each skirt costs 26,400 Yen, which equates to roughly $176.25 or £139.44.

That Butler, A Fashion Icon

Taking inspiration from Victorian clothes, as well as the outfits worn at Weston College, the Black Butler x MAYLA collaboration skirts are a midi length that flares out. The buttons feature the coat of arms of the Phantomhive family. At the back of the skirt, there is a ribbon that is tied and embroidered with the demon contract seal that both Sebastian and Ciel have.

There are three styles of skirt available. Flared, fishtail, and mini-length. However, each comes to roughly the knee area when worn. Although Ciel and Sebastian don’t wear skirts in the show, it mimics Sebastian’s long gown he wears when undercover. The style also resembles the Gothic and Victorian styles and themes shown in Black Butler

Sebastian’s skirt is black with white stripes going down. As for Ciel, it only makes sense that it is a dark navy blue, mimicking both his hair and the official Phantomhive family colours.

That Butler, Featured In More Collaborations?

Although there are no known upcoming Black Butler collaborations, the Emerald Witch Arc is due to release in April 2025. There will be an official statement made in March with more news, and a possible trailer and date.

Perhaps with a new season on the horizon, brands will take the opportunity to make a collaboration to celebrate the release. The Emerald Witch Arc is one of my personal favourites, so I can only hope some William merch will release.

For more Black Butler collaborations, the Sunshine City Prince Hotel has character-themed rooms until March 16th, 2025. You can find out more in our Black Butler Sunshine City Prince Hotel Collaboration news piece. We’d also like to thank our Source for this news piece.
