Alim has announced a new sequel to its hit Brave Frontier series. The game is called Brave Frontier ReXONA and is slated to launch this Summer in Japan.
Brave Frontier ReXONA is set in a world after the events of Brave Frontier II. Guided by the Goddess, Summoners are task to explore the depths of different dungeons.
Unlike its predecessors, BFR will no longer be a tap battle type of game but instead, Players will be required to explore different dungeons, overcoming the different maze obstacles. The game will have 40 heroes for Players to summon at launch, each with their own unique skills and abilities.
Combat wise, the game seems to be a hybrid of an Action RPG + Tap Battle mechanics. There seems to be tons of flashy skills for Players to cast and you can see high damage meters all over the screen. Whatever this is, I believe it’s something I have not played before.
As I’ve mentioned earlier, the highlight of the game is Dungeon exploration thus there will be mazes and puzzles to solve, traps to avoid and monsters to battle.
Lastly, there is also a housing system in the game. Players can gather all kinds of furniture through battles and decorate your own home.
Brave Frontier ReXONA is slated to launch this Summer in Japan so stay tuned!
