Bank of Innovation’s latest mobile RPG game, Cryptract is now available on the Google Playstore and Apple Store. Players who are interested in the game MUST read on.
This is probably one of those rare Japanese mobile game that is a pain in the A*** to get it working. I was just discussing with a friend yesterday on the topic of IP block for mobile games, that there isn’t really one out there. Call it a curse, Karma or whatever, Cryptract is the first Mobile Game from Japan (that i played) that has a IP block for the initial patching of the game. Rants aside, the game does have its selling points and I believe some of you here might be interested.
Cryptract is a simple turned-based RPG game with an old school Japanese RPG art-style. The art-style does feel similar to Cross Summoner and the game also has its own flashy skills to boast. The main selling point for the game though, is it’s strong voice-acting cast.
There will be other game play mechanics such as Co-op missions and Guild battles.
Here’s a short gameplay video I recorded earlier:
The game is out now on both the App and Play store.
Android users if you’re interested in the game, here’s the thing. After downloading the game from Qooapp (or wherever), you need to use a Japanese VPN to Patch the game. Once the game is patched, you can disconnect your VPN.
