NetEase Games and Behaviour Interactive have brought the popular horror experience of Dead by Daylight to mobile gamers, as the asymmetrical 4 vs 1 multiplayer title lands on iOS and Android today.

With its revamped graphics and a host of new content, it’s no wonder the game garnered more than a million pre-registrations before launch, and has already topped the iOS gaming download list in around 38 regions, including the US, Spain, the UK, Germany, and Italy.

In Dead by Daylight Mobile, players will kill or be killed in a twisted game of hide and seek as either a Killer or one of four Survivors. Dynamic visual upgrades and quality-of-life improvements aside, the mobile version offers players a way to socialise and plan pre-game at the lobby. There’s also a new Platinum Tier for the Killers, offering exclusive Memento Mori animations.

Additionally, the new Rift will let players put their skills to the test in a season pass that resets every two months. There will be plenty of in-game goodies up for grabs such as currencies and customisation items; plus, players can also duke it out against other players in the Seasonal Leaderboards in The Fog. On the other hand, the mobile-exclusive Relics add a whole new level to the gameplay, where players can collect Relic Shards and upgrade them to unlock cool cosmetics.

Finally, the Dead by Daylight Mobile X Sadako Rising collab will run from March 15th to March 28th and add both Killer Sadako and Survivor Yoichi Asakawa to The Fog. The former can teleport via TVs across the map while the latter can increase the movement speed of Survivors and stun Killers. Players can also score exclusive Sadako and Yoichi Asakawa Outfits the “Sleeping Blossom” and “Paranormal Investigator”.
