Bandai has announced that they will be collaborating with Kimetsu no Yaiba (Demon Slayer) to release a Tamagotchi. The device is expected to launch this October and is priced at 2,300 Yen.
Depending on how much “effort” and “care” you put on your Tamagotchi, you will end up getting different characters from the series.
There are 3 different designs for the device. The two standard versions based on Tanjiro and his sister, Nezuko, will be available in most stores while the third and special version, is only available by purchasing through Amazon Japan.
It seems that Bandai is trying to revive Tamagotchi by collaborating with many big IPs. First we have the Eevee and Pacman version in 2019 and early 2020, the upcoming Neon Genesis Evangelion in June and now we have Demon Slayer coming this October.
