Square Enix has released a new trailer for its upcoming Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis mobile game. Square Enix has also announced that the Close Beta Test and Pre-registration campaign for the game will be happening soon.
Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis is an episodic single player RPG based on all the Final Fantasy VII series. The game will retain its original chibi character models when traveling in the world. It will then turn into the FFVII Remake like character models during combat.
At launch, the game will cover all of the original Final Fantasy VII storyline. Subsequently we will have new episodes such as those from Crisis Core, the new story elements from FFVII Remake and different character spinoffs.
Monetization is going to be mainly cosmetic and weapons gacha.
