Ghoul RE Kagune V2 Requirements Guide
Ghouls primarily use an extra appendage known as a Kagune to fight. This limb stores RC Blood cells and takes on several appearances throughout its evolution, getting stronger with each kill and consumption.
Most Kagunes have a V2 (Version 2), which is essentially a prestige that boasts maximum potential power.
Unlocking a Kagune V2 requires different amounts of RC Blood Cells depending on the rarity of the Kagune. This includes:
- Legendary Kagune – Between 200,000K to 350,000K RC Cells
- Rare Kagune – Between 150,000K to 200,000K RC Cells
- Common Kagune – Between 150,000K to 200,000 RC Cells
After obtaining enough RC Cells, the player moves on to part two of unlocking their V2:
- Mastered Kagune (Reaching Grade B+ to stabilize)
- Completed by killing and consuming NPCs, other Ghouls, and humans to maintain hunger.
- Obtaining enough RC Cells and eating necessary Fragments (which pair with their Kagune)
- Similar to the first but with the inclusion of consuming Kagune Fragments.
- Eating another Ghoul who has at least 1/3rd of the players needed RC to evolve.
At its final evolution, a Kagune will unlock stronger skills to use in combat, some more versatile than others which turns the tides of battle in favour of its host.
Kagunes With A V2
As mentioned, most but not all Kagunes offer a V2. Currently, players with the Ken, Takizawa, Noro, Wing, and Nishiro Kagune can prestige to V2.
