Google has announced their very own mobile games subscription service, Google Play Pass. This service is currently available in the United States and will be opened to more countries soon.
Ever since Apple released Apple Arcade, I have been spending time trying out some of the exclusive Apple games. Although there are some really good games in the “Arcade” (which I will review them over the next few days), I feel that most of them are too casual or rather simple and you can easily find an alternative title in the App Store. As much as I am an Apple fanboy, the current list of games are not enough to impress me. I thought it would be better for them to include some of the current paid games into the Arcade bundle.
However, here comes Google Play Pass to solve the problem. With the same amount of subscription fee paid ($4.99), you get to enjoy 350 different types of premium games available in the Google Play Store with no ads and no IAP.
Most of these premium titles have been doing well on the Play Store for quite some time now but in order to try all of them, it can be a little too expensive. However, with the Google Play Pass, I get to play all of them for a smaller fee.
Sadly, Google Play Pass is currently only available in the US which means only 45% of our readers here can make use of this service, for now.
Price: For a limited time, start a 10-day free trial and get your first 12 months for $1.99/month, then $4.99/month (US only).
PS: I’m still an Apple fanboy đŸ˜€
