How To Get Rifts In Anime Royale
The only way to get rifts (also known as a Rift Portal) is by patiently waiting for them to appear. Rifts spawn randomly throughout the lobby every thirty minutes on average, so be patient and hang around.
They’re easy to spot, as they’re large bright spheres. Once you find one, walk over to it and jump inside. You can enter a rift portal alone, but I recommend teaming up with friends to improve your chances of winning since they’re challenging unless you have a team of META units.
What Are Rifts?
Rifts are somewhat similar to Raids in both difficulty and performance. Each rift has 15 waves, and you’ll gain Yen for completing each wave. During the final wave, you enter a tricky boss battle. If successful, you’ll win a goodie bag of great items including a chance for the first Secret Unit in Anime Royale!
There are three rift tiers: rare, epic, and legendary. Depending on the rift tier, it changes the chances of obtaining the Friend unit, which is one of the main rewards!
Rift Portal Rewards
These are all the possible rift rewards, and what they do.
- Friend
- Secret Unit based on Frieren from Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End
- 0.5% chance in Rare Rifts
- 3% chance in Epic Rifts
- 10% in Legendary Rifts
- Luck Potion
- Boosts luck by x2 for one hour
- Super Lucky Potion
- Boots luck by x3 for one hour
- Trait Rerolls
- Use to roll for different Traits
- Gems
- Used to summon units from the banners
