As a Trainee Soul Reaper, the Division you select influences the majority of your gameplay and tasks, some Divisions are more forgiving than others, whereas others push you to be rogue and vicious. This How To Leave A Division Type Soul Guide does just that, including each Division type to join!

How To Leave A Division Type Soul Guide
With 13 diverse Divisions in total, it’s common for Soul Reapers to stumble into the wrong niche. Unfortunately, your Division selection is critical as you’ll need Division EXP amongst Missions, Raids and Grip EXP to reach Elite Grade!
To leave a Division, you’ll need to locate the NPC Khaotxc who resides in Soul Society. If you head toward the castle bamboo courtyard opposite the large blue gate and head towards the orange one, you’ll find him under an archway beside an outer wall.
Simply interact with him and he will offer to wipe your Division, no strings attached!
How To Join A Division
Once you’re Divisionless you’ll need to rejoin one to fulfil your duties as a Shinigami. Each Division Commander is scattered across Soul Society and none of them have demands to join. Simply speaking to them is enough to qualify for their ranks.
- First Division – Collect shadows from Hueco Mundo’s Menos Forest
- Second Division – Kill Arrancar NPCs around Soul Society
- Third Division – Carry lost souls to checkpoints within Rukon
- Fourth Division – Heal players within Soul Society
- Fifth Division – Lure Hollow NPCs using bait and kill them in Karakura Town
- Sixth Division – Find the checkpoints around Karakura Town
- Seventh Division – Find the checkpoints around Soul Society
- Eighth Division – Lure Hollow NPCs using bait and kill them in Hueco Mundo
- Ninth Division – Find checkpoints around Soul Society
- Tenth Division – Kill Hollows in certain areas within Hueco Mundo
- Eleventh Division – Spar players within Soul Society (Dealing and taking DMG)
- Twelfth Division – Play an Osu-like minigame
- Thirteenth Division – Travel to Hueco Mundo and touch checkpoints in front of the castle before the timer ends
