How To Tame Adult Spiders In Rune Slayer
To tame a spider, you need to have the Beast Tamer Sub-Class. This is a part of the Archer Branch. To unlock it, you must be at least level 30. Once at the required level, creep up to a spider and hold a Mandrake Root. You can get these as a drop from either the Mandrake King Boss, or by defeating Mandrakes on the farm.
Walk to a spider and hold out the Mandrake Root to feed it. A red heart will appear above their head if they become tamed. Sadly, it doesn’t always work. If it doesn’t, they will attack you… so be prepared!
Summoning Pets
After you have fed the spider a Mandrake Root, you will be able to summon the spider whenever you want. To do this, press ‘T’ on your keyboard.
Adult Spiders can also become a mountable pet. To get this, you must complete the Saddle Quest, which you can only take on when at level 20+. This will reward you with a saddle, which you can put on a pet to mount.
Where To Find Spiders
If you’re on the hunt to find Adult Spiders, head to the Spider Cave. They’re quite rare to come across, so you may be searching for a while! Let’s just hope you don’t have a fear of spiders…
