After an initial planned release date of summer 2024. Hunter x Hunter Nen x Impact will finally release on the 16th of July 2025. The game will be available to play on PC, Nintendo Switch, Xbox, and PlayStation.
The upcoming fighting game is perfect for fans of Hunter x Hunter. It features a vast roster of characters where you can go head to head and enter a battle. You can play single-player or go up against someone else in online PvP.
For players who want even more content, there is a Season Pass available, which will cost $19.99. Having the Season Pass will unlock a new playable character. So far, it has been announced that Neferpitou, one of the Chimera Ants, will release in the Fall of 2025. The official website shows that there will be releases in Winter 2025, Spring 2026, and Summer 2026.
Popular And Lesser-Known Characters Make An Appearance
With most of the main characters, as well as a few lesser-known ones, already making an appearance, the Season Pass is a great way to introduce new ones and give players additional content. Illumi is still missing from the roster, and considering he is a major character throughout, it would be great to see him included. His manipulative needles would make a great weapon against any opponent.
Despite the absence of the Zoldycks, the game features many other characters, each with weapons that mimic their nen abilities from the anime and manga. Aside from main characters such as Gon, Killua, Kurapika, Leorio, Hisoka, Chrollo, and Meruem. There are also a few Phantom Troupe members, including Chrollo, Machi, Uvogin, and Feitan. Surprisingly, Genthru and Razor are included, too, alongside Morel and a personal favourite of mine, Hunter x Hunter Nen x Impact Kite.
There is an advanced pre-purchase and deluxe edition available on Steam, which starts on the 15th of July 2025.
