Ijul Piece 2 Mining Guide

Before you head into the mines located within the Windmill Island Caves, you’ll need to purchase a pickaxe. Luckily, the seller of the pickaxe resides on Windmill Island (Level 1-50) within the Safezone. He is also easy to spot thanks to his iconic frustrated tomato-like appearance.

On interaction with the appropriately named Pickaxe Seller NPC, you’ll be able to exchange 20,000 Cash for the tool. This seems rather steep, but if you squash enough mobs you’ll have the balance in no time!

Into The Mines

The Pickaxe has endless durability but a sole purpose; mine Diamonds. Diamonds are a unique and harder-to-obtain currency versus the standard Cash. They allow you to gain stronger powers, better tools, and overall bulk your character build which helps in the long run with World Bosses and high-level Island mobs.

Of course, Mining isn’t the only way to get your hands on Diamonds. If you’re at a high enough level to take on strong bosses you may feel more inclined to take that route. But, if you fancy switching it up or if you’re early-game, I recommend giving Mining a go.

What To Spend Your Diamonds On

Depending on what route you want to take, you might feel spoilt for choice with where to spend your precious gems. Luckily, I’ve got a small breakdown of where you might choose to loosen the weight in your wallet.

  • Specs – Specs are one of the unique highlights of Ijul Piece 2 where you adopt a powerful moveset as seen from numerous anime franchises. If you want to become your favourite fictional character, you’ll want to get a bucketload of Diamonds to purchase a Spec.
  • Random Item (Diamond) – This is how most players get their hands on a Devil Fruit! Each roll costs 10 Diamonds, conveniently cheap!
  • Swords – Swords are excellent secondary Weapons if you main a Fruit Power primarily. They vary in Diamond value depending on obtainment and level of the blade. Though, typically all the best ones cost Diamonds.
  • Traits – Traits apply nifty permanent buffers to your character build and cost 250 Diamonds per reroll.
  • Family Spins – Similar to Traits, rolling into a decent lineage comes with its benefits! Each Family Spin will fetch 500 of your hard-earned Diamonds.
