While the Lollipop Chainsaw RePop remaster was delayed until Summer 2024, it’s now been pushed forward by almost a fortnight.

It’s not a major difference between the original release date, which was planned for September 25. Discover more about the game on the official website!

The New Lollipop Chainsaw RePop Release Date

Global fans and newbies to the franchise will now be able to play Lollipop Chainsaw RePop digitally on September 12! This new date applies to Europe, North America, South America, and Central American audiences.

The release date of September 12 is for the digital version of Lollipop Chainsaw RePop only, with the physical version due to come out on the 26th of the same month.

This counts for all platforms too, including the PC, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch, and the PlayStation 5 release. The remaster means those who always wanted to play Lollipop Chainsaw, but never had the right consoles, can now do so.

Digital Only?

It’s not every day we get to see a video game’s release move forward on the calendar rather than backwards. But it’s a welcome surprise, especially for me, as I’ve been patiently waiting for this remaster.

Although, it’s a shame the physical release is still late September, as I wouldn’t mind having a collector’s copy of the game to put on my shelf.

About Lollipop Chainsaw

The original Lollipop Chainsaw game is an Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 hack-and-slash title from 2012. It’s a zombie game through and through, but this time, you get to play as a cheerleader turned zombie hunter, called Juliet Starling.

Lollipop Chainsaw RePop is a remaster, not a remake, of the 2012 game, with the same storyline and setting. The main difference is that it’s a more polished version in terms of the gameplay itself.
