I’m surprised that it’s taken this long for a Nikke Evangelion collab to happen! This weekend, we were treated to the exciting announcement of the next collaboration event in the gacha game.

The best place to look for the latest updates regarding the Nikke Evangelion collab is the official Nikke X account, where the developers plan to sprinkle teasers here and there in the lead-up to the event.
Who’s Going To Be Playable?
From the trailer, we can see that the Nikke Evangelion collab features Asuka, Rei, Mari, and Misato. The addition of Mari suggests that the collaboration revolves around the Evangelion Rebuild films!
As for who is playable and who is simply an NPC, we don’t know. I do hope that Misato is an obtainable character, despite her obvious flaws, she’s my favourite from the franchise.
Nikke X Evangelion Event Speculations
Players are now realising that the upcoming collaboration ties in nicely with the current in-game event and the one just before that. Colorless is available in Nikke at the moment, with Juvenile Days occurring a few weeks back.
Both of these events focus on the students of M.M.R Vocational School, Zwei and Ein. With the main cast of Evangelion being school students, it all makes sense now!
While we don’t know which of the vocational school characters will make an appearance in the collab, the PV trailer shows Rei standing alongside Anis, Rapi, and Neon. Will Ein and Zwei also meet up with the Evangelion girls?
