The latest update for Punishing: Gray Raven is here, and it couldn’t be more fitting.
Kuro Games’s immaculate free-to-play action-RPG-Punishing: Gray Raven is pairing up with BLACK★ROCK SHOOTER, a classic character for an event that brings together two of the most iconic cyberpunk worlds ever created.
The new patch is called Blazing Simulacrum, and it sees Punishing: Gray Raven getting a whole new story chapter, several limited-time events, and all sorts of other goodies.
At the top of the list of goodies is the brand-new character-BLACK★ROCK SHOOTER, an A-Rank Omniframe. Obtainable within 10 pulls in the game. BLACK★ROCK SHOOTER is a fearsome warrior with an impressive set of skills and an exclusive all-purpose Bladed Cannon weapon.
The character design of BLACK★ROCK SHOOTER tries to restore her original image to the greatest extent. Some classic elements such as Rock Cannon(her exclusive weapon), the blue flame in her eyes, and the chessboard elements in the chapter setting can all show the care of this collaboration. Her destined enemy-Dead Master will also appear as the boss in this chapter, and players can complete this fateful battle with BLACK★ROCK SHOOTER.
Besides, there are several SFX coatings in the update, too, some new and some making a welcome return.
Fans of Punishing: Gray Raven will already be familiar with Bianca: Stigmata—Solitary Dream and Selene: Capriccio—Vox Soliaris
But joining them on the battlefield are three new SFX coatings: Liv: Luminance—Snowbreak Bloom, Lucia: Crimson Weave—Nightbreaker, and BLACK★ROCK SHOOTER—Elder Flame.
Blazing Simulacrum is adding a whole new time-limited mode, too. Chessboard Realms is a roguelike outing in which you use BLACK★ROCK SHOOTER to experience this new play mode.
